Avp2 Master Server Patch Download

From the beginning, AvP2 had two master servers) This patch was made to retrieve the list from GameSpy, rather than the dead Sierra server. Apart from that, it seems rather silly to think this patch would break Xfire's server list, because it's only a client mod.

Vector_Leader: I've been eager for GOG to release AVP2 Gold for a VERY long time (as well as Rebellion's original). Now that we finally have the original, I'm really hoping something can be worked out with AVP2's licensing.
The first game was great, but Monolith's sequel was freak'n incredible. We need AVP2 Gold on GOG!

would be nice if gog take charge avp2 & ph dlc of storing game for historical reason.
recently Gog released a free AVP classic.
I never tried this version because I have already AVPC on my steam.

AVP2 gold It is not only the name of the complete package of avp2 (avp2+ph) but also the name of an old mod created by Acid Glow. this mod was publicated in some demo cd at end of year 2003 ad

Client:
- Master server bypass.
- CD-key bypass.
- Removed the GameSpy selection dialog.
Dedicated Server (not included in this package):
- Fixed a query buffer overflow vulnerability.
- Fixed the %n bug.
- Fixed the server timer. The original timer runs too fast and causes characters and projectiles to skip.
- 100 FPS server. This slightly improves the server's responsiveness and reduces 'ghost shots'.

- The server reports to the AvP2 master server.
- Chatlog added.
- IDs in names.
- IPlog added.
- Namechange log added.
- Removed any unwanted characters from the player name.

Happy to see this post as an original AVP alien player. Took down whole teams over and over as the alien back in the day. I just reinstalled AVP 2 like 2 weeks ago to see if anyone was still in MP. There was only about 4-6 players total in match and I had to wait forever for a match to even start. So I sadly uninstalled it.
